The painting today is inspired by Toni DesRosiers, the dedicated mastermind behind the Canadian company Abeego - keeping food alive with reusable beeswax food wrap.
From Toni: 📷 A meadow is my most loved wild space. 🌱🌾🌿 My mom would take my sisters and I on mountain hikes. I couldn't wait for the moment we'd emerge from the trees and venture across a sun soaked, flower filled meadow. We'd snack on wild strawberries as my mom introduced the beautiful plants around us. These walks instilled an appreciation for nature that I share with my daughter.
Toni's small daily action in support of the environment: Observing the magic of our natural surroundings with my daughter. Watching worms digging in our garden, sprouts growing in a container, bees pollinating a flower or even just listening to the birds singing outside will have an everlasting influence on how she views her in position within nature. We need to view ourselves as a part of nature so we are more encouraged to take care of it.
These limited edition prints are archival quality reproductions of the tiny watercolour landscapes from This Wild Road. The painting rests in the centre of the paper, confined to a 2 x 2" square - just like the original painting. Prints are embossed with a raised circle and signed in pencil.
